Tommy Priester was born and raised in the Town of Summerville, South Carolina. He has more than 35 years of experience in the construction industry. He is known for his honesty, dependability, and excellent time management skills that keep your job moving smoothly during construction. He and his sons, Taylor and Trey, provide daily on-site supervision of your project which results in a higher quality home with fewer delays. Tommy believes in not cutting corners which is shown in the superior quality of each custom home that he builds. He is always willing to answer your questions and present the options that are available to you. Whether you are local to the Charleston area or living out of town, you can depend on Tommy to send regular communication and updates on your project so that you always know what stage you’re at and what needs to be done next. Tommy’s favorite pastime is boating with his family and two Boykin spaniels, Drake and Nova.

As a native of the Lowcountry, Taylor Priester grew up watching his dad, Tommy, bring customers’ home dreams to life. He joined the Priester’s Custom Contracting team at a young age starting off cleaning and eventually managing job-sites. Through his experiences he gained extensive knowledge that led him on his career path of structural engineering. Taylor served as a Firefighter for the Town of Mt Pleasant for two years and then he went on to become the Facilities Division Chief specializing in managing infrastructure repairs. Taylor rejoined Priester’s Custom Contracting in July of 2023. You can count on him to coordinate subcontractors, handle permitting and jobsite inventory, visit your jobsite daily during the construction process, and more. He is trustworthy, diligent, and professional. Taylor and his wife, Gracen were married in 2017. They have two boys, Tucker and McCoy and four fur babies, Scout, Buster, Ruby, and Winnie. They enjoy spending time as a family tending to their animals, boating, and riding four wheelers.

Brittany Priester is a Charleston-based brand strategist and graphic designer who leads the marketing efforts for Priester’s Custom Contracting. As a Lowcountry native, she brings a deep understanding of the local market and a passion for helping family-owned businesses tell their story with clarity and intention. Brittany holds a double major in Business Entrepreneurship and Graphic Design from Charleston Southern University, where she graduated with honors. She uses her background in both strategy and design to manage the company’s social media presence, website, and overall brand identity, ensuring that every touchpoint reflects the quality, integrity, and craftsmanship behind each home. In her free time, Brittany enjoys painting, baking, spending time outdoors with her family, and playing with her two Boykin Spaniels.
